The Simonstone Bristol Handicap Stakes was run at 6:20 on Wednesday 10th August, at Bath Racecourse. Run over one mile, 3 furlongs for 3 year olds. The ground was good and the going firm. The runners were very competitive and provided a great racing spectacle!
This was a wonderful day of racing, with the weather very much in our favour and the spectators enjoyed some great racing, with the backing of Simonstone!
The winning horse was Belledesert (pictured above), owned by the Ocean 4 Syndicate.
Some of Simonstone’s customers were invited into the Bath Racecourse Champagne Bar, to share a few glasses with the winning owners. This was a fantastic opportunity for Simonstone to give our valued customers a chance to really enjoy a day at the races, in a first class environment!
Simonstone’s Operations Director, Ian Jones, commented “It was a great evening and we really enjoyed hosting a few of our lucky customers!”.
Simonstone are proud to support this event, where people come together to watch these amazing horses and jockeys racing against each other, in a fantastic setting on the hilltops of Lansdown.
